Free Shuttle & Free Parking

A free shuttle provides transportation to and from the Metro and National Airport.

FREE Exhibits + 1 Session (Fri-Sun 9am-6pm):

Visitors and newcomers are encouraged to just drop-by Friday through Sunday (9am- 6pm) to enjoy our 90+ exhibits, including compassionate shopping, delicious snacks & desserts, and amazing social justice organizations.

Thursday, July 15

• 4pm - Registration opens & Welcome Reception
• 7pm - 9:30pm - Opening keynote/plenary in the Grand Ballroom
• 9:30pm - evening snacks and socializing

Friday - Sunday, July 16-18

• 7:30am - 8:30am - workouts/morning snacks/hotel breakfast
• 9:00am - noon - each hour choose breakout sessions, discussions or videos
• noon - 1:30pm - lunch break and exhibits
• 1:30 - 5:30pm - each hour choose breakout sessions, discussions or videos
• 5:30 - 7pm - exhibits until 6pm / hotel dinner or Saturday Awards Banquet at 6pm
• 7:00 - 9:30pm - keynote/plenary - presentations by movement leaders
• 9:30pm - evening snacks and socializing

Exhibit Hall - Friday-Sunday, 9am-6pm (free & open to the public).

Monday - July 19

Several groups are planning lobbying, demostrations, and other post-conference activities on Monday.

Meals & Snacks (all vegan)

• Breakfast: 7:30-8:45am - a la carte selections
• Lunch: 12-1pm - box lunch $8 / hot buffet $12
• Dinner: 5:30-6:30pm - hot buffet $15 (Thursday, Friday & Sunday)

Free snacks from AR2010 - 8-8:45am and 9:30-11pm.

Saturday Awards Banquet & Fundraiser

Saturday Night Awards Banquet ($35 onsite by Friday noon). Dinner and entertainment, followed by activist and celebrity awards, fast & fun fundraiser with special thank you gifts, and our featured keynote presentation.

The meal is optional. Attendees may join the presentation after dinner at no charge. Guests (who are not registered for the conference) may attend the Saturday Awards Banquet for only $50. A cash bar will be available.

Greening it!

We are happy to provide environmentally-friendly conference totes to carry your AR2010 program booklet, our sweatshop-free AR2010 T-shirts (limited supplies), and merchandise from our 90+ exhibitors.

Our free morning and evening snacks will be served with biodegradable utensils and cups and we have conveniently located recycling bins for paper, glass, and aluminum.

We are reducing the use of plastic badge-holders and reusing them (so please return your holder before leaving). Please help even more by reducing your use of disposable cups and placing your waste in the appropriate bins.
