Thank you for your interest in the Animal Rights 2019 National Conference Work Scholar Program. This program allows conference participants to earn back all or part of their registration by helping at the conference. It's a great opportunity to meet other participants and help us to make the conference the best it can be.
Your registration fee to join the program is $100 and you will be reimbursed partially or fully after the conference depending on the number of hours you work. We require that you sign up and work a minimum of 6 hours and maximum 8 hours. After the conference, we will reimburse you up to the cost of your registration fee at the rate of $12.5/hour. You will only be reimbursed up to the amount you paid - $100, unless otherwise authorized by the Work Scholar Manager or Registrar.
We'll do our best to accommodate everyone and make sure you see the sessions you like the most! It's a win-win situation that helps everyone. If you are interested, register below at the Work Scholar rate and we will be in contact in the coming months with additional information as well as work slots. If you have more questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that low-income/travel discounts cannot be combined with the work scholar program. Meals and lodging are not included.

Below are a few examples (not all) of what could be asked of you at the conference. You will have an opportunity to sign-up for work scholar slots that you think works best for you, the time and the day. These will typically be sent out a few weeks before the conference and slots are first come first serve.
